The studio is centered around a Neotek Elan 28 channel inline mixing console mated to a Sony APR-24 2" 24 track analog multitrack recorder. With a wide selection in outboard dynamics, microphones, and instruments, we have the tools to craft quality recordings.
The facility boasts a 1200 sq. ft. live room with 15' ceilings, brick walls, and wood floors. We also have 2 isolation rooms and an amplifier isolation box to accomodate a large range of recording scenarios.
From 2004 to 2006 Danny Friedman operated the recording side of the Tannery while Jason Halprin did extensive film work at the space. Brian Douglas took Jason's spot in 2006 and the Tannery became solely a recording facility. In 2008, Brian departed from the studio and Ben Derickson and Ben Woyak became new resident engineers.
